RGV ROCKET CLUB

SEPTEMBER 21st LAUNCH IS A NO GO
CANCELED
All Launches are open to
ARC Teams

Here you will find rocketry club info,
launch announcements and more.

The Rio Grande Valley (RGV)Rocket Club located in McAllen, Texas has been around since 2000.  We are dedicated to having safe, fun with Model and High Power rockets in a family friendly atmosphere.  We have monthly launches of model rockets and occasionally launch rockets with Tripoli Houston when we want to launch High Power rockets.  Along with our sister organization, RGVSTEM, we try to use hobby rocketry to reinforce the STEM education and show students how their learning can be applied in the real world.

NOTE: ALL OF OUR LAUNCHES ARE OPEN TO AMERICAN ROCKETRY CHALLENGE TEAMS TO LAUNCH FOR FREE.

Dale Busse

Thank you to Dale Busse who allows us the use of his land for our rocket launches. Without the generosity of land owners our hobby would not be possible.
